We’re all used to FOX News misidentifying GOPs caught up in sex scandals (Mark Sanford, Mark Foley, Larry Craig, et al.) as Democrats, but tonight’s might be the ultimate FOX News FAIL:
At the conclusion of the President’s remarks announcing the death of Osama bin Laden, the FOXbot Roger Ailes hauled in on Sunday night had this to say:
“President Obama speaking from the East Room of the White House telling the nation and the world that President Obama is indeed dead….”

This is stunning. The look on his co-anchor’s face (they have African-American anchors at FOX?!?) is priceless.
Come on… Not diary worthy
Osama Bin Laden (D-Hell)
Your opinion is noted.
If a slip of the tongue — immediately corrected — is FOX’s “ultimate fail” then that makes them the most accurate and reliable news source in the history of the world.
Heh.
FOX has a looooooong history of making such “slips” — and not always so quickly corrected — when it comes to Democrats:

There was another one
One fox affiliate had “Obama bin laden is dead” in the ticker
this is in Fox’s standard “style sheet”: to search and replace Osama with Obama and Obama with Osama.
Not a single mention of Freudian slippers? Guess my age and decrepitude set me apart again.
They’ve done this, like, forever. Confused the names.
It wasn’t a slip of the tongue, it’s how they view our president at FOX. And he didn’t correct himself, his horrified co-anchor corrected him. Watch the video.
Exactly. It’s part of new employee orientation for on-air talent.
I couldn’t resist watching the run up to the President’s speech on FNC. I wanted to watch them choke on the words as well as witness how they would distort the reporting and commentary to ultimately criticize Obama. Heraldo Rivera was anchoring the coverage and also transposed Obama for Osama.
Those furrin-y Muslimish names are sooooo hard to keep straight, especially for someone as inexperienced in television broadcasting as Jerry Rivers.
Or, you know, NOT.
And your opinion of MSNBC making the same mistake?
