Michele Bachmann signed an anti-gay Christianist hate pledge to secure the endorsement of “THE FAMiLY LEADER” [sic] hate group.
Yesterday, Bachmann signed the harmful anti-gay Christianist pledge sponsored by the hate group “The Family Leader.” By signing, Bachmann promised to continue fighting against marriage equality and to help spread the word that homosexuality is a choice, a health risk, and akin to adultery, polygamy and polyandery.
The pledge goes further to compare abortion to human trafficking, sexual slavery and prostitution and demand that the candidate promote an anti-gay federal marriage amendment, appoint only Christianist activist judges to the bench and of course to recognize that overpopulation will be “beneficial” to the US.
I hope the media asks this very important question of all GOPs competing for their party’s presidential nomination: Have you signed the porn pledge? If not, why not?
UPDATE: Rick Santorum signed.

I want Newt to sign.
Also! Fred Karger.
I read the pledge this morning on the Huffington Post.
Disgusting, simply disgusting!
Anyone who signs such a monstrosity should be barred from holding public office forever and should be legally compelled to seek psychiatric treatment.
The critical question we should be asking ourselves is the exact nature of the familial, religious cesspools in which these individuals were taught their pathological view of mankind and the world.
Nice crop of religious fanatics, misogynists, misanthropes, and miscreants religion is growing these days in the United States under the aegis of the Republicans Party.
Thanks Teddy and highly recommended.
But Mish seemed so reasonable during the debate!
So this what conservative/tea party folks mean by “small, nonintrusive government”?
Bachmann is just another delusional tea party brown-nosing theocrat who pretentiously claims to be doing “God’s work” — using cherry-picked biblical passages to justify her brand of social intolerance and religious self-righteousness.
Bachmann insists that she is not a flake. “I am a serious person”. And then she signs a pledge suggesting that black slave families exemplified right wing “traditional family values”, implying that slavery was not that bad after all.
Not a flake? Methinks she has a bit more work to do.
