My favorite part is the red arrows…. Very cute.
… and the modesty panels of Rainbow Flag!
Must be boring with only men in SanFran. Or not.
NMA rocks. I love their non-Christian viewpoint on this, as I have when they covered other issues. Started following them when they disrobed Palin in 2008.
(hey baby)
Exactly. A viewpoint that’s hard to find in English-language media.
Funny how the animation has a nudity ban also. So I guess we know how the animators would have voted had they been on the board. Especially since evidently they are even afraid of animated dicks. If you know the Castro, like nobody on FDL seems to, you would know that people are probably pretty split in that neighborhood, and even those who are pro-nudity aren’t as worked up as those outside the city seem to be. It is basically the biggest gay community in the US deciding that they don’t feel like seeing a dick on the way from the ATM to the Pizza parlor–at night–about 20% of the time. They decided they had seen enough. This isn’t sunbathing we are talking about. This is guys hanging out (pun intended) mostly at the fronts of a few bars where there is a ton of pedestrian traffic. Wiener probably didn’t dream it up on his own. The video is a fail. It is not accurate. It is far more prudish than San Francisco. Maybe it is the animators politics that we should examine. What a joke.
Lived in or very near the Castro for 20 years, so your assertion that nobody seems to know the neighborhood rings a little hollow. The film is not presented as a documentary, by the way.
