I simply loved the recent South Park episode where the plot would become so convoluted that Morgan Freeman had to step in to let viewers know where everything stood. From South Park to Antarctic penguins, Morgan Freeman is America’s voice of authority — when he speaks, people listen. It’s not his celebrity so much as his clear and commanding delivery that makes people pay attention.
His narration of this advertisement, beginning rotation this week on the web and on television, makes clear that America has turned the page on marriage equality. A new day aborning, indeed.

It’s a good ad. Someone had pointed out that his (IIRC) ad for Obomba was noteworthy especially because he had been the voice of God in films once or twice before. (Again, IIRC)
‘Dawn of a new day’. Yeppers, and about time. Hope SCOTUS justices see it. ;o)
What no link?!
OK all kidding aside … despite the fact it’s HRC I like the ad and I am kewl with Morgan Freeman’s voice but HRC puts me off especially with the hedge fund-y, war-faring, drone-loving national corporate partners Goldman Sachs. *blergh*
The voice of James Earl Jones always seemed like the voice of God until Morgan Freeman came along. It’s perfect.
The same voice that made a statement that he is NOT marrying his granddaughter.
I always hear a smile in his voice. :)
Good for Morgan!
Kudos to Morgan Freeman but as long as Joe Solmonese is involved with HRC and as long as there is no apology forthcoming for throwing me under the wheels of the ENDA bus, screw them. Again, good on Morgan though!
