Simple Answers to Stupid Questions (No I did not come up with that line I think eChan did whoever did Thanks take a bow in the comments)

Conservatives Hate taxes yet inflation makes the price of everything go up cause and effect they only see the effect not the cause they treat the symptoms but don’t cure the disease.
Government pays people like policemen who have to buy gas in a world where gas is $3 a gallon in Seattle.
Obviously wages then have to go up.
The Federal Reserve hates inflation and keeps interest rates low unless wages go up then they raise interest rates kill the economy and reduce the buying power of Americans and force the Government to raise taxes. After all Government has to buy things in this economy at the new higher prices things like police cars and gas to run them.
What ever the government was collecting before in taxes won’t be enough as California under Arnold has shown us despite all the cuts he has made in government spending.
Look at the 70’s wages went up due to inflation the dollar was weak from to much borrowing to pay for the Viet Nam war we even went off the Gold standard because some countries wanted to be paid in gold from America rather than American Dollars.
Today with 2 wars worth of debt I expect the Federal Reserve to very soon raise interest rates again to 70’s levels.
They are just waiting until Obama not Bush get the blame.
Obama’s only chance to keep interest rates low is to stop spending money on wars and get the budget under control.
No scratch that we are a Consumer economy now Government needs consumers to spend Consumers first though need jobs.
A tax give away like Bush did history has shown does not stimulate the economy like a steady paycheck does.
Only when Consumers are feeling secure that they have a regular paycheck paying them a good wage will they spend. What is a good wage? I’ll let the real Lefty Economists here at the Lake argue that.
Raising the minimum wage is a good start but its useless unless people have jobs.
Business is not hiring they need paying customers first to start hiring.
Only the Government is big enough to borrow to create jobs now.
Why the government’s economic advisers and the Main Stream Media do not mention this I don’t know.
