They hate us because after 7 years General Eric Shinseki was right! about the war taking 10 years and several hundred thousand troops.
They hate us because for 7 years despite ever worsening chaos you refused to send in more troops blaming the Commanders on the Ground for not asking for more troops to keep order. When everybody knew what happened when Eric asked for more troops!

In our news media Dick gets to talk on tv almost every week but he never gets asked about torture or Christians being killed just because they are Christians, by our supposedly free press.

Well, you can’t say to our soldiers, “We’re fighting this war because the Military-industrial complex needed a new enemy after the fall of the Soviet Union and this terrorist thing is just what the Doctor ordered. Now go kill and die so that Defense contractors and their like can reap huge profits.” Doesn’t really roll off the tongue as well as, “They hate us because of our freedom.”
How about, “they hate us because our major export is war?” I mean, surely no one wants a recession on that front, right?
Good Points Davidd and Mary when you have to lie to make your case for something then you know your case for something is weak.
The GOP just can’t stop lying and in my life I can’t remember a time when they didn’t lie or stir up fear and hate to get power.

It can’t be both ways, either they hated us before hand and that’s why they attacked, or they didn’t hate us and attacked anyway.
Since they attacked they obviously hate us.
Iraq did not attack us on 9/11 Ossama did from Afghanistan. Iraq had no ties to Ossama. What would a secular dictator who let Christians live in his country want with a Fundamentalist Muslim.

If you notice my comment I talk about Iraq only not Afghanistan there is no connection between Iraq and 9/11.
OBL despised Israel and the USA’s unwavering support for Israel. He also despised despotic governments in the Middle East and the USA’s interference in the domestic affairs of countries in the region toppling governments and replacing them with despots. He also hated the USA’s theft of regional natural resources. These views are relatively common in the Middle East.
What distinguished him from others was his willingness to kill innocent people to achieve his goals.
I used the past tense to describe him because he died of complications from advanced kidney disease in Tora Bora in late 2001.
He certainly despised Saddam Husein who despised him in return. Mullah Omar, leader of the Taliban, offered to capture OBL and turn him over to the USA after 9/11, but Bush refused and violated international law by invading Afghanistan. Neither Saddam nor the Taliban had anything to do with planning or participating 9/11.
Everybody else in the world knows this. Not so here because of our lying government aided and abetted by a lying media.
They hate us because of our Government that we support and have condoned sticking it’s nose in everything all over the world.
We have tried to steal the oil and minerals all over the world. Tried to tell everybody in the world what to do. Flunted our Military power and used it to make others do what we wanted.
Even now we are in two wars that are mainly to tell those Countries what we want them to be. We are threatening Iran to make them do what we want them to do. Telling North Korea what they must do. Yes even telling the Chinese what they must do all while borrowing all their money.
Yet the ignorant Americans bought the story that they want to kill us because of our freedoms.
They want to kill us because we are ignorant Americans for supporting our own Government and it’s actions.
They hate our government and the MIC. Doubt they hate us because they can draw a distinction between it and us. Most can.
