Short diary, but good news.
Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) today came out in opposition to the odious Baucuscare :
"There is no way in present form I will vote for it," Rockefeller told reporters on a conference call. "Therefore, I will not vote for it unless it changes during the amendment process by vast amounts."
There will be many amendments to Baucuscare.

The Ed Show ripped up the “bogus” Baucuscare this evening. Had Wendell Potter on again tonight he slapped Baucuscare down. Said it was a give away to insurance companies
That’s really good news. Though I can’t say I’m surprised. This isn’t national security, and in other areas I’ve always had the impression that Jello Jay was pretty liberal. What are the chances that other Democrats on the committee will join him? I suspect that some of them are pretty angry that instead of having committee meetings, Baucus has relied on “the gang of six Maybe they’ll show him a thing or two when it comes time to vote. What can he really do about it?
If perchance as impossible as it seems Boguscare passes, then our only hope is that Obama will veto it. But if he doesn’t, what then?
