ORGANIZING FOR WHAT?

David Plouffe, marketer-in-chief of the Obama campaign and now friend of Organizing for America, sent out the following email today on behalf of Organizing for America (just doing his part to try to spin away the failures of 2009):

[Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit.]

So as we wrap up one year and prepare for the next, we want to hear your reflections on our work together in 2009 and how you want OFA to move forward in the new year.

Can you take a minute to fill out our quick survey on what’s next in 2010?

There’s no limit to what we can accomplish this year, if we keep working together.

Can’t wait to get started:

Happy New Year,

David Plouffe

Here’s my response to the survey:

Dear David,

Seriously, you don’t want to hear what I think about Obama’s failures in 2009 – the broken promises, the obvious love for corporations, and then some more broken promises to the people who worked hard to help him get elected.

In 2010, I expect to hear new bullshit slogans.

And I expect to see more of the same from Obama and Democrats, who can’t do what’s best for the American people, or just don’t want to.

There’s no limit to what we can accomplish in 2010, you say? Are you joking? What the fuck happened in 2009?

I’m not interested in working with you anymore.

That’s my response.

How would you respond to Plouffe’s survey?
