Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart exposed more blatant lies from Sean Hannity and Fox News. Not only did they again lie about the numbers of attendees at Michele Bachmann’s Teabagapolloza 2009, they used old teabagger protest footage as "proof."

FOX News: We Distort. You Recite.
I love Jon Stewart. Kudos to him and hope he keeps it up. Sadly, I doubt that this will make much, if any, difference.
I’m now seeing winger email threads that flat-out make statements to the effect of “facts don’t matter” or “such-and-so may not have happened but I’m still mad about it anyway.”
The fact is, this is reported on Comedy Central. Traditional media, with the possible exception of a few shows on MSNBC, will never say boo about it. But get a few other teabaggers paid to be bused in by the Club for Growth or the Big Insurance Lobbyists, and all traditional media, including PBS/NPR, will crow away happily about the “huge” crowds and how we must all “pay attention” to their “feelings.”
Same old, different day. Go, Jon, but don’t expect much blow back.
