Even Frank Luntz is amazed…
For decades certain human beings were wrongly treated as property and denied liberty in America because they were not considered persons under the constitution. Today other human beings, the unborn of all races, are also wrongly treated as property and denied the right to life for the same reason; because they are not considered persons under the constitution. I am disappointed that President Obama, who rightfully fights for civil rights, refuses to recognize the civil rights of the unborn in this country.
Rick Santorum — frothy mix, racist:
The question is, and this is what Barack Obama didn’t want to answer, is that, is that human life a person under the constitution? And Barack Obama says no. Well if that human life is not a person then I find it almost remarkable for a black man to say ‘now we are going to decide who are people and who are not people.’
In a desperate fight to hide the racism that runs rampant throughout the tea party, the National Tea Party Federation (or NAMBLA) has booted Mark Williams and the Tea Party Express for Mark’s racist blog post [Warning: link to Williams' site] that made national headlines last week.
Teabagger spokesman David Webb:
We, in the last 24 hours, have expelled Tea Party Express and Mark Williams from the National Tea Party Federation because of the letter that he wrote.
Here’s Williams’ MSNBC appearance/blog-whoring/book-pimping on Friday:
I guess the teabaggers will now claim to be free of racism.
The racist Justice of the Peace Keith Bardwell went on CBS’ The Early Show this morning to talk about his refusal to marry an interracial couple. He claims he did it for the children:
I’ve had countless numbers of people that was born in that situation, and that they claim that the blacks or the whites didn’t accept the children. And I didn’t want to put the children in that position.
Nope, no racism there. None at all. Just trying to protect future children.
Bardwell ended the interview by offering this “apology” to the now married couple:
I’m sorry, you know, that I offended the couple, but I did help them and tell them who to go to and to get married and they went and got married, and they should be happibly [sic] married, and I don’t see what the problem is now.

The attacks provoked a near lynch mob atmosphere at her rallies, with supporters yelling "terrorist" and "kill him" until the McCain campaign ordered her to tone down the rhetoric.
But it has now emerged that her demagogic tone may have unintentionally encouraged white supremacists to go even further.
The Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that they had seen a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Mrs Palin’s attacks.
There is no excuse for the hate and racism that was displayed at many Republican campaign events and I would find it hard to believe that Palin did not know what she was doing (although she apparently didn’t know that Africa was a continent so the point is debatable). As crowds at her rallies shouted racial slurs directed at Obama, racist signs and even nooses were displayed on numerous occasions, she did nothing. Read the rest of this entry →
I had heard from a friend that searching on Amazon.com for "terrorist costume" would yield but one costume — a Barack Obama mask.
Figuring it was a joke, I had to try it for myself. After entering "terrorist costume" in to the "Apparel & Accessories" search box at Amazon, however, the search results were less than funny. Sure enough, there was but one result, a Barack Obama mask selling for $49.95.
One commenter on the mask’s product page notes:
OMG when submitting this review, here are the Amazon Tag Suggestions they provided for me: "Tag Suggestions (click to add): obama, barack, liar, socialist, costume, dignity, terrorist, creep, marxist"
Stay classy amazon.com. I hope you have a lousy holiday season.
UPDATE: Since this story has been making a buzz on teh internets, Amazon.com has fixed the "terrorist" listing. I wonder if they will issue an apology?
