While all the hoopla that has surrounded the healthcare debate (I wish people were just as motivated and angered regards the theft that is -and has been- occurring via the financial bailouts and reform of financial regulation), one thing that is still not pushed is the idea that nothing will occur until 2013.
That’s unacceptable to me -and others like Selise for instance- so I wrote a diary last week that mentioned the National Association of Free Clinics, suggesting we donate what we could to them and take the healthcare issue out of the hands of the politicians.
And today I read where Keith Olbermann has helped raise $1.2 million for free health care clinics, resulting in new health fairs in Little Rock, Kansas City and New Orleans.
So ,again, let me suggest that citizens donate to the National Association of Free Clinics and that such become a nationwide movement.
Simply stated, people shouldn’t have to wait until 2013 to have healthcare. Even the rockheaded ,self-styled ‘conservatives’ I have interacted with don’t understand why a ‘medicare for all’ plan wasn’t part of the ‘negotiations’ and phased in over ‘x’ amount of years.
So lets tell the politicians that their efforts are bullshit by showing them we can do it ourselves through ‘free clinics’.

Donate by all means, but know you are doing what your Governemnt won’t do, because they spent our money on the wars and the Banks, and now say they can’t afford to finance something like this, or give us the healthcare we deserve with our money.
They still talk everyday like it is their money, and I haven’t heard one person call them on this.
We have spent enough between the wars and the banks to have our own personal doctor following each of us around, but still think our Governemnt is working for us, and defending us.
It didn’t defend us on Healthcare or the economy as of yet, so I hope a healthcare bill isn’t just another dream.
