What’s Bennet up to? From the latest edition of the New Yorker
Michael Bennet, a freshman Democrat from Colorado, said, “Sit and watch us for seven days—just watch the floor. You know what you’ll see happening? Nothing. When I’m in the chair, I sit there thinking, I wonder what they’re doing in China right now?”
uh, what? You have a primary – Guess your day dreaming is happening on the campaign trail too and Andrew Romanoff is taking advantage of it – and is surging in the polls.

Local Progressive Talk Show Host Mario Solis Marich says it best today:

"In my history of campaigns, I always said a candidate can’t win without PAC money – I have never said you could win without it. Now that’s not the case. Romanoff is doing it."
As you can see in this diary about Primary Candidate Andrew Romanoff (that was up on the rec list for the last 2 days) – Mr. Romanoff has come from behind from a double digit deficit to a lead in 4 weeks – and all without taking any PAC money against a conservadem.

Best of luck to Mr. Romanoff for the moneybomb and in the election against Bennet (daydream believin!).
And then against the rethug.
I would think this insane faux paw by Bennet in declaring that he’s daydreaming on the taxpayer’s dollar while in session would go viral, and kill his candidacy all by itself.
I’ve never HEARD a stupider comment to be made public.
But you can’t FIX stupid.

Mr. Bennet has never stepped up to the plate to do what is right. Knowing no one had had time to read 92,000 war documents & that Colo. is economically hurting he jumped in fast and voted for another $50 Billion for the war. This will keep more young people in Afghanistan and make them more vulnerable to be killed or to have to kill and just as my dad in after the war it eats up their heart and their emotions when they are in positions of killing, and I would think even more for unjust or corporate causes. I gave him tons of research documents about the suffering, torture and murder done to Shaker Aamer that the UK Parliament discussed wanting back, but stated they were at the US mercy & yet he has never said a word. Well sorry guys, I want someone who is courageous enough to tell the people the truth from the beginning. I’ve been out on the streets of Denver every Fri. with a sign for the Green Party, Bob Kinsey who is against the War, believes there should be REAL INVESTIGATIONS INTO 9-11, GUANTANAMO TORTURE & MURDER and there should be no more $Billions sent to military, but kept for Edu., social Security and inside Colorado. You know some of this issues would have at least viewed for dealing with if the people had voted for the Green Party Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nadar. I voted for the honest and warning us Senator from Georgia Cynthia McKinney, but Ralph Nadar also warned us.
