Lies, innuendo, ahistorical references, explosions, Iranians Coming to Your Neighborhood to murder you, parroting Israeli propaganda, ‘Ooooh; Big Brian spent the whole day talking to the FBI, can you believe it?’, Iranian ‘Shadow Wars Around the World’.

Amy Goodman showed a brief clip of this yesterday in her interview with Glenn Greenwald and Reza Marashi of the National Iranian American Council, and I went hunting for the youtube. When I didn’t find it at first (I should have know to put Ross’s name in the search window ahead of Sawyers, eh?), and found Glenn’s written about it already. He says the two of them ‘Belong in a Fear-Mongering Museum’.
Can we assume these folks all know exactly what they’re doing?
So…er…President O’Bomba: If you really don’t want Israel to bomb Iran, or ‘us’ to jointly, when the hell are you gonna call out to Bibi and Barak from your Global Bully Pulpit, and tell him to stop all this crap, and call out these War Porn networks for lying and fear-mongering?
I submit to you that the illusion of a free press in the US…is more dangerous than State-run ‘news’ broadcasts.
In related news, Bloomberg reports:
“Brent crude futures settled at an eight-month high of $120.11 a barrel in London today, having gained 12 percent this year on concern that the dispute with Iran over its nuclear program may lead to a disruption in oil exports from the Persian Gulf region.
Call options outnumbered puts, which are used to protect against slumps in the oil price, by more than four to one as of 3:50 p.m. today in New York.”
Can someone get Brian Ross a high colonic, by the by?

Stupified horror. I know, I’ve told you that’s the state I’m in.
We’re watching it all unfold again. You can scream out in rage against these echo chambers of inanity, but people are just going to look at you funny. I just hope I don’t end up in a padded cell giggling to myself.
It’s the nature of human beings. I don’t know how many more provocations, dirty dealings, genocides, fanatical religious instigations, or “get them before they get us” memes humanity will have to endure before the stupid works its way out of our system.
I tend to agree with my late grandfather who said the only way we’ll survive is if artificial intelligence ends up governing us. That’s a scary thought, but then how much scarier is it than what’s taking place now, where our news sentinals are merely narrative parroting drones and their audience absorbs each successively worsening indicator like a cow watching a livestock truck pull up to the barn?
Gareth Porter describes O’s pro-war policy as an “accommodator”. Unwilling to confront his Generals and to admit the failure of wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the looming war in Iran. The press is complicit and perhaps even more guilty than the “star-struck” President because they are charged with the responsibility for telling the whole truth, and not just the parts fed to them by the propaganda unit from the Pentagon and Israel. O has told N. that we are in “lockstep” with Israel. Too bad no one listens to all of the citizens who will be killed if war breaks out. Too bad no one listens to the soldiers who will be killed if war breaks out. All because people with a great deal of power had paranoid thoughts and were allowed to act on them.

Pepe Escobar thinks the so called “Iranian” attacks on Israelis in Thailand was a false flag operation:
http://antiwar.com/radio/2012/02/16/pepe-escobar-18/
Meanwhile, Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan have signed a communique today, agreeing to fighting terrorism in their region which they believe is fueled through drug money. I will see if I can find a link for that. It is not like Iran is linked to the terrorists. But the news people would have you believe that.

Another excellent diary, Wendy.
The propaganda machine works tirelessly to fan the flames of war.
The citizenry has momentarily grown tired tired of the codpiece-cowboy approach after GW beat it to death, so now the propaganda media is working hard to forge a new approach.
One part, that Iraq, er, I mean Iran, is a very, very, very, bad country and wants to destroy our glorious freedom-loving way of life, is a familiar, and effective, tactic.
The other part is what has been modified. In spite of the fact that the US is the aggressor, Obama is being falsely portrayed as a calm and rational leader trying everything short of military action to prevent Iran from nuking the world with its as-yet unattained nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons it needs, I might add, to protect itself from our aggression, a point studiously avoided by the propaganda media.
In any event, if and when the WH decides it is time to bring its war with Iran out into the open with a conventional military attack, the road will have been paved. For after all, what else will our dear leader, the measured, rational opposite of that cowboy Bush, be able to do in the face of so much provocation and aggression by the evil Iran now that all other options have run out?
And when it happens it will again be time for everyone to shut up and support the troops.
I wonder what they will come up with to replace the “they will welcome us with roses” and “the war will pay for itself” dog treats they will toss out for both the neocons and the fake liberals to snack on.
The News folks never mention that Congress legislated that we are not to have any diplomatic contacts with Iran. The News people never mention that the economic sanctions have caused hardship for everyday Iranians (not Iranian leaders) and that these sanctions are internationally considered acts of war. For the NYTs propaganda team, (Broad and Sanger),…. they wrote so many obviously biased articles purporting that Iran was developing “weapons”, that they now have to write under the names of other unknown reporters, listing their own sorry selves as co-authors below the articles lambasting Iran!
I’m wondering why Glenn isn’t being more cynical about news reports and the media appearing to be ahead of the admin. Looks to me like they have their dishonest propaganda going in the “media kit” packages sent to ABC, CNN, etc, so all the things they, the actual administration, say…can’t come back to haunt them.
The call to impeach Bush over lying about Iraq probably have them spooked.
We do have a few heroes, Matt Taibbi, Michael Hastings, Jason Leopold, Jeff Kaye, and a few others. There are the legacy stars, such as Sy Hersh, who have not been embedded in the anus of the war machine. The outlaw journalists, such as Hunter Thompson, Michael Herr, and Tim Page were always a minority, but did make a difference.
These neo-con oil wars have almost no war correspondents, but there are many press agents for neo-con generals and spymasters. The “Collateral Damage” eleven
Irakis butchered, by storm trooper goons suggests what happens to unembedded reporters. We can safely assume the military constantly monitors all reporters especially the unembedded. “Collateral Damage” may have been a planned assassination
We can easily dtermine who are not the shills. Any war reporter who references the atrocities from Wikileaks. Any reporter who reveals the False Flag Ops, Niger Forgeries, Libby exposure of the Wilson’s, CIA control of Bin Laden, Underwear Bomber Government Conspiracy, David Headley protected by the CIA, and other CIA terrorists, and the many terror groups the CIA uses.
The rest of the stenographers, especially on tee vee, are nothing but shills, and accomplices to war crimes..
Shoot, hotdog; I’m embarrassed to say (I, who thought I’d become unshockable, though clearly not) that Mr. wendydavis, as he left for work, may have wondered if I’d still be watching endless loops of this video when he got home, wild-eyed, and with saliva dripping down my chin, endlessly stammering, “Porcelain dolls l-l-love war, China doll W-w-w-war P-p-p-porn’, like a latter day Billy B-b-b-bibbit.
(Are pipple lookin’ at me foony, hotdog? Tell-l-l me the truth, now…)
I’ll take your cow metaphor a step further: Americans *love*, get a *satisfactory thrill* outta all this fear-mongering. Like the Christianist panels ‘discussing’ gay rights, going into greaphic detail about homosexual sex, pretending horror, but…loving it all. Just mind-fuckingingly perverse.
Rule by AI: an idea whose time has come; forget Rule by Technocrat.
Hey girl, it ain’t just blondes. Check out brunette Erin Burnett doing the same, highlighted in Greenwald’s blog today. Gives a whole new meaning to “Lock up your daughters” lol.
Gareth’s portrayal of O as ‘star-struck’ and ‘accommodating’ is milder by many degrees than I see him by now. He’s advancing the neo-con agenda faster than anyone might have imagined (thanks to an obliging and LOTE ‘base’), and he and Clinton seemed determined to gin up a new Cold War with Russia (well along the road, imo), and frickkit: O announced in his SOTU that he’d be ‘pivoting’ our ‘military might’ or whatever…to the Pacific, where, of course, new bases will be built to prop up our sick new Pacific trade deals…and to Strike Fear Into China’s Heart. Yeah, as if…
But if this man doesn’t *embody* US Imperialism, who does?
Well, the 2012 AIPAC conference starts March 3; guess we’ll see some video comin’ outta that one, eh? Wonder if CUFI will be a hit there again? What was that freak-of-nature guy’s name who used reverb on his mic a few years ago? Thought I’d never forget… Arrgggh.
Thanks for the links, TomThumb; I’ll listen and read later.
Annnnnd…they never mention that any multinational can work around those sanctions, either, and sell what the f they want, including armaments. Gah!
They use sock puppets now; didn’t know that, Tom.
Not sure what you mean, but Glenn did write this yesterday (day before?):
http://www.salon.com/2012/02/14/us_media_takes_the_lead_on_iran/singleton/
Pretty cynical. But Chris Floyd linked in approval to this piece of Arthur Silber’s; he wants more than scathing critiques (no road map, but still worthy of thought:
http://powerofnarrative.blogspot.com/2012/02/first-ad-who-are-nazis-now.html
If by ‘excellent diary’, you mean ‘interesting and incoherent traumatic babble’, then…I agree, dear. ;o)
And damnation; you’ve gotten exactly to the heart of the New Narrative that will sell amazingly well. Jayzus; we should put ya on the teevee! And I hadn’t even sent ya these links, ya wiley coyote:

Yep; the neo-cons all held down O’Bomba and tortured him until he agreed to undertake more and bigger War Stances, and proxy battles… Oops; I’ll come finish soon. gotta walk away from the computer for a bit.
Rec’d, Wendy. My head a-sploded when the State Dept. lady in your video said something about “terrorism against Israel and other innocents.” O’Bomba just left my neck of the woods after vacuuming up a few hundred thousand from the 1% and a little more from those in the 99% who paid to touch the hem of his garment and be told that he doesn’t want the US to be known as just buyers and consumers but manufacturers (no mention of warmongers)! And he wants to give those of us born into bad circumstances a ladder to the middle class. I am imagining that ladder must look something like a mobius strip or MC Escher’s staircase to nowhere, since there ain’t no middle class.

They lied about Iraq, they are lying about Iran , too.” Shorter Arthur Silber. Thanks for the link.
I just meant, I didn’t get the impression that the gov can hand out a media package, complete with “facts”, video, etc for the TV “journalists”"to remix and report as their own (I know public health does that stuff all the time..why not the dep of defense?).
So it might look like the media’s “taking the lead” but really, no, it’s just the laziest “journalism” in history. It’s still the gov taking the lead in a backhanded way (and one that could have some advantages if released as “journalism” as opposed to an official quote from the administration.)
I like those suggestions in that second link. Right before I hopped back over here I was thinking that when “propaganda” became a dirty word, the bad guys just started making theirs in secret, and the good just just quit doing it. Which has proven bad for the good guys. And OWS (promoted by adbusters, advertising guys turned apostate) proves that marketing works.
You’ve cemented the ‘codpiece-cowboy-Bush-approach’ meme into my cranium; thank you, AltID. ;o)
Thing is, I don’t even think these folks even believe in all the ‘Iran’s THIS close to Nukes’ stuff; at least the career CIA analysts keep telling them what the truth is, not to mention, so the F what if they were.. But Israel does care, so…’we’ care, no?
New treats to snack on. Well, stories about the women and children worked verrry well for his Librul base as a reason to stay in Afghanistan…until Karzai makes better deals with China and Pakistan, (and China builds its bases there) and it becomes better known and…well. What next? Declare it a Win, and Off to the Pacific and the South China Sea, I guess.
For the neo-cons: FREEDOM. ‘Cept nothing that Socialist O’Bomba can do will please them, so mebbe it’s an Empty Set.
Thanks for coming on the thread, Mr. Seldom Seen; nice to have you after such a long hiatus.
My wish would be that no country had nukes but since 6 already do, I fail to see why everyone is so hysterical over Iran getting them. I have seen no indication that Iran plans to use them on Israel, except bluster, and I believe that Iran is smarter than that. They would have to know that if they attacked Israel that they would be wiped out within about 24 hours. What would be their gain? Israel wants the whole world to revolve around their country and I’m pretty sick of it. I vote NO! Thanks, Wendy.
Interesting how this is playing out:
http://consortiumnews.com/2012/02/17/triumphalism-over-talking/
The government sure seems like it is in a hurry to go to war.
Succinct and good analysis, Frank33; thanks. For a time we could kinda/sorta trust AJE, but no longer, but at least they do carry some good opinion pieces still. But your point about downsizing when print media’s future was looking so bleak, and the first to go were…foreign desks is sot on. Remind my brain: is it AP that is now so unreliable of the two giants?
Speaking of ‘making a difference’ and Sy Hersh, I was googling yesterday for him since the campaign to paint him as needing Nurse Ratched after his ‘CIA-says-there-are-no-Iranian-near-nuke-capabilities’ piece in Harper’s (The Atlantic’?) If I had a memory, tra la la…
And just his morning I found a link to something new he’s written on Iran, didn’t take the time to check…and now I’ll be a-huntin’ it all day.
Google a document called “Which Path to Persia.” It’s written by “elites” and makes it very clear that it’s all about the fact that Iran might be more willing to tell us to go to hell if we try to influence something economic over there if they have a nuke.
And god forbid several countries over there with nukes get together and tell us to go away at the same time.
Hey, son; I saw Erin’s mug when I went after that link of Glenn’s I stuck in up yonder. But she’s a Money Girl, or was…same thing…so. She’s bullish on Brent Crude, Yellow Ribbon futures, and duct-tape-and-plastic sheeting, no? ;o)
And srsly; she can’t hold a candle to China Girl’s earnest, Ooh-so-gentle-and-soft truth-telling visage, can she?
And big LOL on ‘Lock up yer daughters’!
Oh, and how’s this for sick irony? ‘Wikileaks Banned from UN Conference On…Wikileaks?
http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2012/02/16-5
That piece was at least barf-worthy, but: I am so glad to hear that The Man is a born-again Populist, srsly. I confess I was kinda glad to hear from Old-School Dem Tom Harker callin’ His Highness and Dems out on Forking the SS trust fund to the tune of $2 billion. (h/t Jack of LUV newsletter this morning):
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/17/payroll-tax-cut-tom-harkin_n_1284334.html?ref=barack-obama
‘EM Escher stairway to nowhere’ is delightful, darlin’ carol; thank you for that, too.
Nothin’ says populist like find-raising in Orange County, eh? Hollywood’s next; we hear he’s busy promising them… promising them…chimeras.
Judith Miller Getcher Gun.
Yeppers; and by the by…Ahmedinejad should shut his narcissistic face…
But *Israel cares*, so…*we care*. But oh, those nukes in India, Pakistan (wow; is that goin’ south in a hurry), North Korea…the big five, plus the worst kept secret, Israel. Nine anyway?
No gain at all, Twain. That’s what leads us to think no one could be crazy enough to wage (more than economic sanctions) war against Iran. And yet…The Crazy is on the march. American Dementia writ large.
At least to prove that ‘diplomacy failed’ in such a short window that is described… Arrg. Good piece, and I really liked what he says underlies ‘triumphalism’, because that is ALL the MSM and the MICC considers. ‘We win, you lose, you crazy warmongering Shiites’.
The approach you describe is not new, making the Wark-hawk act and look the part of the peace-dove all leader of nations do it. FDR used this same tactic to get America into WW2. Prior to his provocations the Japanese had no intent on attacking Pearl Harbor but what is a few thousand deaths so that the war profiteers can make some money?
Hotflashcarol, you’ve done it again: the ladder to the middle class “must look something like a mobius strip or MC Escher’s staircase to nowhere..”
Wendy, all my boyfriends in Hollywood (George Clooney, for instance) are not as cute when they turn out to be Obamabots. :\
Deja vu all over again! This is all reminiscent of our run up to the Iraq War with the media acting as the megaphone for the serial killers in our midst – propaganda 24/7 in our traditional corporate media. I guess we lost more than the war in Iraq recently.
(smacks head) Hagee, John Hagee.
2007.
I feel yer pain. (Well, mebbe not) LOL!
That is an American in that bomb suit. The government of Thailand don’t have that kind of equipment. Looks just like “Hurt Locker”.
My President tole me we wun that war, billyc. Gonna win in Afghanistan in…2014…2015…2020? Whenever they toss ‘us’ out on our skanky asses.
No comment from me…I’m still stuck on the image of those CIA-trained GM mosquitoes armed with their itsy-bitsy morgellon torpedoes sitting at their desks in the briefing room waiting for the colonel to tell them about today’s mission. Some of them are wearing aviator shades.
It’s really beyond words isn’t it?
“Ah…a bomb disposal expert was on vacation in Thailand,” Ms. Victoria ‘Secrets’ Nuland said, when asked about it later.
Nice catch, banderson2.
ROTFLMAO, twocents. Made my day with that one; srsly. ;o)
But Shhhhh. I warned ya not to speak the word morgellon in sane, polite society! (looks around).
Oh; it’s okay; you’re safe here. But whatever ya do: DON’T SCRATCH!
Hence: the incoherent rant I began with. Had to go take a few Soma pills and a slug some vodka in order to finish.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKIQSo7JbKQ
Slighty OT, but perhaps I can bring it around: when I need a break from the “real world” (WTF that is), I visit a website called Regretsy.com that exists only to make fun of Etsy.com, a website where people sell handmade crafts and vintage stuff. Regretsy makes up a game where you have to guess whether an item is actually something for sale at Etsy . . . or not. (WARNING: NASFW (Not Alway Safe for Work.) http://www.regretsy.com/2012/02/15/etsy-or-regretsy-your-guesses-and-answers-2/
So: GM mosquitoes with aviator shades and morgellon torpedoes who love the smell of Roundup in the morning: True or False?
A rant isn’t a rant unless it is at slightly incoherent.
Mr. hotflashcarol has been singing that Joni Mitchell song since I met him. Boop shoobee, indeed.
See, I couldn’t even make the sentence coherent.
Somehow…Mr. hotflash is even more absurd than Mr.wendy, lol! The mental image that flashes in yer head. ;o)
I love you, dear one.
I love you too. Forgive me for injecting silliness into your otherwise very serious diary. I have just been too serious for too long. I am giggly now, and intending to stay that way for the long weekend. Srsly.
Erm…check my first comment response, and a few others…no dearth of silly absurdity here. Some days all you can do is laugh once the outrage chills a li’l bit.
Yeppers; you deserve a vacation from Mean-oids. Mr. wendydavis read the Oakland Radicals comment stream last night; guess The Old Snail took my criticism a wee bit amiss, eh wot? Got a li’l bit snail-snotty with me? Guess she’d been snackin’ on Roundup Ready corn for too long… LOL!
Eeeeeewww!
I’ve invited her over for a nice saucer of beer and she hasn’t taken me up on it . . . hmmmm.
The Mean-oids seem to have moved on to other outrages – but not before giving Zappa quite a dressing down in a face-to-face meeting. They are really delusional. He’s organizing around them for now, which seems like a good plan.
I’ve noticed it too
Last Sunday, or the Sunday before, I was going through the channels and some blonde was on MSNBC doing a Faux News job interview or something because she was war mongering as good as the airheads over there
John, I remember way back in the day, Alex used to sub for Keith Olbermann and when she did that, she acted like she had a brain. Not any more.
Eyes like a Husky dog, eh? We haven’t cable, so I really only see msnbc online, and really by now Ratigan’s the only one I ever turn out. He’s great on financial crime, and a few other things, NOT FP, and his panel is the worst possible (maybe; I’ve lost touch, really).
But who else to sell war than these blondes; they wouldn’t lie to us, ya know?
As someone said on another thread, they are all about equal, Fox, msnbc, all of them. And the putatively Librul ones are all the more dangerous, IMO. How many Dems figure Rachel Maddow is A Gift to Democracy? Arrrgh!
I love your ‘rambling rants’, wendy…! They’re so spot on…! ;-)
I stopped watching Diane Sawyer years ago. She’s nothing but a whore with glassy eyes.
Keep up the good work Wendy. You’re the best. You should be front-paged.
Notice how they very carefully say “alleged”, “reported to be”, “what appears to be”, apparently”, “seems to have”, “seemed to”, etc. They have been told to sell a war, to start immediately after the election but they are hedging because they don’t want to be out on that limb without Obama. Never doubt that the ruling caste and their toady media conspire to create the narrative on a daily basis.
recommended.
Aw, shucks, Tuttle; ah bet ya say that ta all the whack job gurls… ;o)
Thank ya so much, karenb; my passions runneth over pretty often, but then…it’s the time of the season for it…so…I gotta give ‘em some wendydavis love. ;o)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfwFpRnOeGg
Yeppers; consummate deniability for later challenge…really clever of them, yeah?
Nice to see you, Margaret. And I left you a rather book-length response to your questions on the one diary.
Kept looking at your dashboard the last couple days to see when you surfaced; given your ‘commentus interruptus’, I hope all is well with you.
Did you? Oh gosh, I stopped checking after that day I think, though I may have looked for a response after work the next day. I’ll check it out. Thanks.
I recommended this earlier, but I was at a loss for words. My question is, who out there actually buys into this stuff? Well, come to think of it, there was that Republican Congressman who got duped by an Onion article…and posted it to his Facebook with the asinine headline “Wholesale abortion,” until someone from the passing public swung by and reminded him that it was satire, so…
Thing is, this here, this is really scary. Just really scary stuff.
About not making sense. Neither am I. How do you make sense out of something that makes no sense?
I gotta run, but just thought I’d you all would enjoy these links

Wrote it the next morning as promised. Mightta needed an editor, but…ah did mah best, out of respect.
Well thank you for the response and since that thread is long closed, I hope you will permit me to respond here. I’ll try to be brief though brevity isn’t my strong suit.
I admit that I am a very passionate person, mostly to my own detriment but don’t confuse my passion in what I believe to be an emotional response. I wouldn’t say I’m “projecting (myself) into the past”. It’s a much simpler motive than that. I detest bigotry. I detest and deplore war. Always. I despise how barbarically some people treat each other. I loath the exploitation of the defenseless by the stronger. I’m also never going to be a victim and while I can see why you might get that from some of the things I’ve written about, it’s not the case. I have had an…..”interesting” life. So interesting in fact that if I was to sit down and tell you the whole story, you’d call me a liar. But rest assured that had I behaved remotely like a victim, I wouldn’t be alive to carry on this conversation with you and get to know another friend. I would have instead offed myself at any one of the thousands of opportunities that has presented itself. No, I’m so not a victim that I’m hyper aggressive when defending something I believe in. It’s very off putting at times but it’s hard for people to see the source of that passion. That doesn’t cloud my judgment however though it certainly colors my communication. Every position I hold, every belief I possess and every policy I endorse has been arrived at after looking at the relevant, available data. My brain always races ahead of my ability to communicate, especially in the heat of the moment. My “problem” with the post you wrote, so to speak, is another example of my brain and passion getting ahead of my ability to effectively convey my thoughts. Though I don’t apologize for my remarks or am I going to change my position, I will beg your pardon for some of the …less well grounded accusations… we traded, for my part anyway.
Here, then is how I feel about Dresden: You know that I believe that as even tacit supporters of such vile, hatred, my sympathy for the ADULT citizens is extremely limited. Though war is always to be deplored and avoided where possible, as human creatures, sometimes it’s unavoidable. I’m not going to get into any debates about FDR and tacit approval of atrocities, etc. That is irrelevant to what we’re addressing here. As an art lover, of course the loss of the irreplaceable treasures of a Germany in it’s prime is abominable. In fact, I would have urged Clinton to be far more aggressive with the Taliban when they went on their anti anything not Islamic crusade and began destroying the beautiful Buddhist art. But for me the hatred is what pretty much outweighs almost anything. The hatred and the cruelty. The United States had the power to stop it and they did so. That doesn’t expunge any sins or responsibilities they had in the war’s inception but the fact is that the interment of Japanese Americans by Uncle Sam, (yes, I’m aware nobody brought that up, it’s an example), isn’t relevant to a discussion about the use of the atomic bomb so bringing up various theories about what FDR knew and when is pretty much non sequitur in this context. Yes, my life experience has certainly aroused my passion on this issue but no, that’s not how I arrived here.
Anyway, take it for what it’s worth. I do admire and respect you, though I will continue to disagree strongly, that shouldn’t be taken as a blanket rebuke because there will be many more cases in which we will agree. A friendship that can’t stand some disagreement is a weak friendship indeed but what I lack in diplomacy is made up for in intellectual honesty and really that’s all any of us have.
Thanks! :)
Hey, CraneStation; thanks for stopping by again. Read em and weep, I guess.

love to you,

p.s. Dunno where ya might re-locate; our valley is kinda one big bike trail, but no jobs.
Oopsie! One more thing! I wanted to make clear that endorsing the STRATEGY of putting a stop to the Nazis should in no way be interpreted as an endorsement of the TACTICS employed to accomplish that goal. So no, I don’t really endorse fire bombing of civilians ever but as I said, my sympathy for the adults living there at the time is incredibly limited.
Thank you, John; I’ve seen the middle one, not the two others.
Run well, and stay strong, dear.
*heh* But that’s not the ‘windswept plains’ of South Point, M’dear…! Btw, you could even be a neighbor with my folks at my old homestead in Green Sands Subdivision…! ;-)
Interestingly, My Better Half is the heir-apparent to that homestead…! No mention of me…! wtf…?
LOL! My dear friend Obey in Switzerland, longtime blogging and email virtual friend, more accurately, once mentioned an entire study some academic idiots in Europe did, and found (so amazingly comically) that people tended to think what they believed…was true. The tools actually spent money and time to discover that fact, lol!
But for me, I see my beliefs less as Irrefutable, Indelible Truths than fervent beliefs, based on what I try to conclude based on as rigorously a moral search as I can accomplish (and surely fail at, sometimes).
Re: existential issues, I go thru them myself here and there lately, so I do understand a bit about that.
But I do thank you for kicking things around a bit more with me in order to find a little more understanding of what positions we each staked out on that subject.
I will try to look forward to ya kickin’ my ass again in the future, lol!
