To have so little that no-one can find anything to take from us is all I have been able to come up with. That, and tasting bad.
Let’s see. Reform(not likely). Inevitable collapse of the economic system and, more likely, some subsequent revolutions and coups or both. In more countries than just the United States.
Either of which do not require the UN.
Just prior to seeing this thread, I posted that I had heard enough about problems and wanted to know what I or we could do about them.
IOW, my answer is no, I don’t know, but I wish I did.
If there is nothing I can possibly do anyway, I am going to drop out and think happy thoughts about things like sunshine and flowers.
(LOL; taste bad. That’s brilliant!) Here’s my solution – turn your back on the corporate world and go off-grid – get very local. Go to your farmer’s markets, buy your eggs from the chicken farm, build a masonry heater and chop your wood, can your veg. Things will eventually evolve to this state, once corporations inevitably crash, so why not start now?

Yea Katherine, but I’m already doing almost all of what you suggested and while it does keep my own life saner it really doesn’t help avoid the “Masque of the Red Death” scenario the people in DC are calling down on everyone’s heads. I like most of my neighbors but if push came to shove I’d be the one under foot and they’d be feasting on my bones likely before they confiscated my garden. Being Vegetarian I’m likely the tastiest human in 100 miles. I asked this question because I think I have a solution that may work but it involves the UN and I’m none too sure how many and which UN nations are actually in the pay (openly or covertly) of the US or worse people. I was hoping someone else had some real solution beyond patient long suffering and the eventual justice of God.Tank you for the “Transition” links. Although I’ve been doing this myself I’d no idea anyone else was.
